Queensland’s biggest town and state capital, Brisbane has an attractive, manicured image based around its riverside aesthetic as well as the contrast between its high-rise center and extensive urban greenery.
Kick off your visit on the 17th (Mon): identify plant and animal life at Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary, then see the interesting displays at Queensland Museum & Sciencentre, and then look for gifts at Noosa Chocolate Factory. Here are some ideas for day two: admire the masterpieces at Queensland Art Gallery and then let little ones run wild at South Bank Parklands.

Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia to Brisbane is an approximately 12-hour flight. You can also do a combination of flight and bus; or do a combination of train and flight.
