Change things up with a short trip to Fremantle Prison in Fremantle (about 32 minutes away). There's much more to do: take in nature's colorful creations at Kings Park & Botanic Garden, tour the pleasant surroundings at Perth Zoo, pause for some photo ops at Kings Park War Memorial, and explore the activities along Swan River.

A low-rise, laid-back town of approximately 4,500 inhabitants, Margaret River serves as an ideal local base to explore the surrounding wine region.
Venture out of the city with trips to Busselton Jetty (in Busselton) and Jewel Cave (in Augusta). Spend the 7th (Wed) on a tasty journey with a beer tour and tasting. Founded as a military outpost in 1826, Albany is the oldest town in Western Australia, just barely gaining this title by being settled two years earlier than Fremantle and Perth.
Start off your visit on the 10th (Sat): tour the pleasant surroundings at Little Beach, then explore and take pictures at Replica of the Brig Amity, and then stroll through Greens Pool. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the 11th (Sun): examine the collection at National Anzac Centre, pause for some photo ops at Desert Mounted Corps Memorial, then don't miss a visit to Albany Wind Farm, then take some stellar pictures from Sharp Point, and finally explore the striking landscape at The Gap and Natural Bridge.

Esperance is a town in the Goldfields-Esperance region of Western Australia, on the Southern Ocean coastline approximately 720km east-southeast of the state capital, Perth. Spend the 12th (Mon) exploring nature at Cape Le Grand National Park.
